Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated Muslims in Delta State and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration, urging them to offer special prayers for peace, unity and national development.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor called on Muslim faithful to embrace the values of sacrifice, compassion and selflessness which define the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He also encouraged Nigerians to remain committed to serving humanity through personal sacrifice, devotion to Allah and support for one another, especially during difficult times facing the country.
