A Lagos based Criminal Justice reforms Non-Governmental Organization Zarephath Aid has urged the Federal Government to re-strategize in the war against terror. Speaking on the series title; ‘War Against Terror; Time to Re-strategize’ (part 1) during its weekly podcast, CRIMINAL JUSTICE FOCUS, Ben Abraham, a legal practitioner and the Founder ZAREPHATH AID stated that recent events in the war had shown the imperativeness for the Federal Government to bring about a new strategy. Citing the events that happened on Friday May 15th 2026 at Mussa in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State and at Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State where school children were respectively abducted and a mathematics teacher later beheaded, the NGO made it clear that something was fundamentally wrong with the current strategy. It added that contrary to what the Defence Headquarters released about the terrorists in the Oyo attack, it had become evident that by their actions, the terrorists had planned the attacks and had come to stay. The first part of the series is available. WATCH HERE. https://youtu.be/CABVriKy80A?si=5AQv8L3GM55biZCA
