Interswitch, one of Africa’s leading integrated payments and digital commerce companies, will return as a Platinum Sponsor of Moonshot by TechCabal 2026, strengthening its involvement in one of the continent’s leading technology and digital economy gatherings.
The company will make its third appearance as a Platinum Sponsor and, for the second consecutive year, will take ownership of the Big Tech and Enterprise Stage at the two-day conference scheduled for October 28 and 29, 2026, at the National Theatre in Lagos.
The fourth edition of Moonshot, organised by African technology publication TechCabal, will be held under the theme, “Courage & Conviction – Building for a New World.”
The conference is expected to bring together policymakers, technology executives, founders, innovators, investors and business leaders to examine emerging technologies, partnerships and ideas that could shape Africa’s digital economy.
For Interswitch, its continued participation reflects the growing importance of digital infrastructure and enterprise technology to Africa’s economic development, particularly as businesses and consumers increasingly depend on digital platforms for payments, commerce and other essential services.
As the owner of the Big Tech and Enterprise Stage, Interswitch is expected to lead discussions around enterprise technology, digital infrastructure and the opportunities and challenges facing Africa’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
The company will also participate in a closed-door session involving policymakers, industry leaders and innovators, where discussions will focus on the policies, investments and partnerships required to develop a more resilient and inclusive digital ecosystem across the continent.
Commenting on the partnership, Cherry Eromosele, Executive Vice President, Group Marketing and Communications, Interswitch, said Africa’s next phase of digital transformation would require more than technological innovation.
“Africa stands at a defining moment. The next chapter of our digital transformation will require more than innovation; it will require the courage to rethink what is possible and the conviction to build for the world we know is coming,” she said.
Eromosele said the development of Africa’s digital future would depend on strong infrastructure, purposeful partnerships and a sustained commitment to solving challenges at scale.
According to her, Moonshot provides an important platform for bringing together individuals and organisations capable of translating ideas and conviction into practical action.

Interswitch’s participation comes as African businesses and governments continue to grapple with the opportunities and challenges created by rapid technological change, evolving consumer expectations and the expansion of digital commerce.
The company said its continued partnership with Moonshot is part of its broader commitment to supporting Africa’s digital transformation through innovation, strategic partnerships and collaboration across the technology ecosystem.
The conference is also expected to provide an opportunity for participants to examine how emerging technologies can be translated into practical solutions capable of supporting inclusive economic growth across the continent.
With Interswitch returning as a Platinum Sponsor and again taking ownership of the Big Tech and Enterprise Stage, the company is positioning its participation not only around sponsorship but also around discussions on the infrastructure, investment and partnerships needed to shape Africa’s next digital economy
